Saturday October 30th 2010Rome  I met up with Samme at the airport. Our planes were due to arrive an hour apart but thanks to my plane being late and hers being early, i only ended up waiting about ten minutes. We caught our Terravision bus to Termini station and went to find the metro to our B&B. The metro system in Rome is one of the worst I’ve ever been on. For such a HUGE city there are only two metro lines, and they only cross over at ONE point: Termini. so the station was incredibly busy and HUGE and we had to walk heaps just to find the trains! Then there was a little more walking once we made it to our stop to get to our B&B. After settling in we headed out to find the Colosseum. Blew our minds… after some photo taking we found a little restaurant to have dinner at, right by the Colosseum. Was so amazing to be eating proper Italian pizza in sight of the Colosseum! After dinner we did some more photo taking, and saw a couple having their wedding photos taken in front of the Colosseum, and then headed to the Trevi fountain. There was SO many people there! But it was still so amazing to see it in real life, not just in a movie.  By this stage it was quite late and we were both pretty tired so we walked all the way back to the B&B to get some rest.
